Eek, it's August

Ok, where did July go?  I'm sure there weren't 31 days of it.  I wonder whether I can blog from my new iPhone?  That'll be a task for later today then.

Nearly the end of July

Isn't this summer flying by?  And it's not even been much of a summer weather-wise.  Still it's starting to look a bit milder and set fair, the sun's shining here (Bournemouth) today.

Leo did well

Seems he did very well with the other dog there today (Claire's collie), came when he called, didn't disembowel the collie.  Agreed that Saturday classes are too much for him at the moment with 6-8 other dogs but he can go along and play in the field alongside every week until he gets a bit better.  Maybe he never will behave better with other dogs but at least he's getting every chance.

Monday Diary

Monday Morning.  Not the best of times to start posting but hey.

Helen's taking Leo to the dog trainer today to see if he can take a few more steps towards behaving better with other dogs around.  When he's out on a lead and sees another dog he's pretty intent on killing them, no matter how big or small they are.

When he's playing in a field another dog doesn't seem to be a problem, just when he's on a lead out walking, like yesterday at the country park when he went for the throat of a muddy brown and white spaniel just as we were walking out towards the field.

I do hope he behaves better today.
